    To answer your question…
Student loans don't work in the way that Shane is using in the show. The scam is that he got loans from multiple banks and they all gave him money for his classes. Yet when you get a student loan, the bank doesn't pay you directly. They pay the school.

There's critical reviews, then there's just being a hater. I've never seen a man cry so much in an AV Club review on a weekly basis.

    Jesus, man!
Quit bitching about the show already!

And a fine canceraids to you, sir!

    Agreed. The movie sucked.

    Abed!
    Yay for Abed!

    That…
was one of the best Cheers episodes ever.

I liked that episode of Saved By The Bell!
Then again, I liked all the episodes when I was a kid.

So how much eggs and bacon do you think he ate? :)

    Who uses Alta Vista?
Is everyone in this town trapped in 1997?

He did. I wanted to mention it last night, but I was way too wasted to remember.

    THIRD!
    Woo-hoo! I'm drunk!

I didn't like this movie as much as I thought I would.
If it had been made a few years later it could have better spoofed the Survivor craze that had hit the country. But it just seemed dumb. The ending was obviously fake and would have raised the b.s. alarms for most people.

    It's a good show….
when you're not trying to like the characters. Think of it like Jersey Shore, only fiction. You hate the characters, find that they have no redeeming value, and yet you watch anyway.

    Anybody else….
think it's more than a coincidence that the time the AV Club decided to start reviewing this show was the same time that Comedy Central put The Onion's sports show on immediately after?

I'm sure it has nothing to do with The Onion's show coming on immediately after.

First time I ever saw Jim mad.
And I'm not trying to pull a firstie (it's too late anyway), but that was the first time his character showed any type of strong negative emotion.

They should WRITE SOME ORIGINAL SONGS!

I liked ONN for the first couple of seasons, but for the past ten years Matt Groening really let the show jump the shark
