    My band played two all-ages indie/punk shows in Indiana. My kids were back home in Wisconsin with my wife, who graciously still lets me do silly rock music even as I approach middle age.

    Joggers were on StarTime, who also had the Walkmen and the French Kicks, and I think were associated with Vagrant Records. Shakey Hands toured out here with the Thermals.

    Nope, Wisconsin! Never been to Portland. Both of those bands toured here and were on pretty big labels, so it's not that odd.

    Jake Morris was in the Joggers - one of my favorite bands of the aughts - and was by far my favorite part of another band, Shakey Hands.
