Todd, I've just got to say.  I've been reading your reviews of this show from the very beginning of season one.  Almost every episode you find weak in some way I adore and vice versa.  I will never, ever understand how in God's name you gave "Skytanic" a B- yet gave "Pipeline Fever" an A.

Grew up a huge Kiss fan.  Completely sickened by the makeup of lies worn by Singer and Thayer.  At least Singer is talented though.  Thayer is an utter hack.  If you're going to have a fake Ace, get Bruce Kulick back.  That man could at least play.

Noel, just have to say I'm floored by how well you put this together.  As soon as I saw the title, I was already preparing to come on these boards and start ranting about how nobody mentions Artful Dodger.  Can't tell you how impressed I was that you delved that deeply.

Gotta say, a pop punk primer would be good.  If nothing else it would give me a forum to explain in grand detail why I think The Descendents latter incarnation of ALL was actually the stronger of the two acts… and then about a hundred people will insult me repeatedly for said opinion.

Not only do I remember Artful Dodger, but when I was FINALLY able to find all four of their studio albums (3 of which have been out of print since the early 80's) via a certian internet site about 8 years ago, it may very well have been the finest pop culture moment of my life.

Great call on the 1997 self titled "Cheap Trick", Newton Gimmick.  A widely ignored masterpiece.  "Say Goodbye" may be one of the best songs the band has ever recorded.
