As much as I like the early Whigs stuff, I'd argue that, with the exception of Black Love, everything Dulli has done since teaming up with Rosser has been his strongest work. I think Dave was the musical partner Greg always needed.

Is it just me or has Howard really become the moral center of this show?
The Kim becomes an addict angle actually makes a ton of sense. As many have shared, addiction can arrive easily from a minor injury and Kim's trying to walk away (at least initially) from her overly demanding lifestyle could even exacerbate it.
Does anyone know what record Chuck had playing when Jimmy was there? It was fantastic and I didn't recognize it.
As a Kiss fan, I can say not including "Baby Driver" is in no way unfortunately. Worst song on their best album. Hell, possibly their worst song period.
Dave Grohl in old guy makeup looks an awful lot like Tom Araya in not old guy makeup.
I don't know where they're going to take this in the end, but if this series ends with a scene of Gene working at the Cinnabon, going to the register to see Kim as his next customer with a final shot of her face with a sudden slight smile of recognition, I will be completely satisfied.
I will immediately end my subscription to Bob Loblaw's Lawblog.
I didn't see Elizabeth's reaction to Gorp Guy being jealousy. I took it as she'd begun to relate to him having the same motivations as her. Elizabeth has, more than any other character on this show, bought into the idea that what they are doing is truly for the greater good. When she found out his work was not to…

I am, by strange coincidence, listening to Circle Jerks Live at the Fillmore right now. You on that one?
The moment in THE Word where Charlie pulls his gun out and sets it on the table is probably the funniest sitcom moment I've seen in the past three years.
There are a LOT of songs I could list here from multiple eras and genres. The very first one that came to mind for me however was that one of the college stations here in Cleveland was very ahead of the curve when thrash metal started to break out. A few months before Reign in Blood was released, they had an advanced…
See, America! THIS is why we can't have nice things!
30 Helens Agree (fantastic user name, BTW), I agree wholeheartedly with your post. I too was a big fan of Metallica in the 80s. The black album totally lost me and it was downhill since.
"most thrash guitarists that aren't Gary Holt should really just skip solos"
Pricks!
The Venture Bros is the king of this:
Egg?
Battybrain, good post, but a few things I have to address. You said Metallica gave us thrash metal. No, they absolutely did not. They were arguably the biggest band in the scene, but they most definitely did not give us thrash.
