Sonia's and Zach's both immediately make me dislike whatever im watching. Its just so played out and cliched.

it was both hilarious and way more brutal than i would have expected. my girlfriend and i, both jaded crime TV junkies indifferent to almost all manner of directorial grotesquerie, looked at each other with a shocked expression. which i assure you is high praise indeed.

oh wow! he did a fantastic job too. that last ridiculous line was so well executed

seems to me the whole point was that Morty Jr. had a caring parent to intervene in his destructive nature. even if the parenting wasnt perfect, he wound up as a successful writer rather than a mindless bloodthirsty beast.

perhaps just being overly hopeful, but im seeing a lot of reasons for optimism in influential places. im an unabashed macho action fan and id say some of the best moments of frisson ive had recently in that genre have been with female protagonists. it seems like directors and writers are starting to "get it" much more.

well considering that its not bad at all! interestingly the most notable aspect of that episode was the exterior shots of the mining operation / house, which i thought were gorgeous

whats up with the troll armada suddenly swooping in on this (possibly) last episode? It seems like such an innocuous show to bother about. do you really have so much time on your hands? not that some of the criticism isnt valid, but the tone of this comments sections is SO different from previous episodes.

i really liked both of them, and TBH i didnt even notice they were gone until the reviewer mentioned it. THATS some good writing right there.

agreed. not only that but in one episode doesnt his doctor mention that Jerry has the largest penis hes ever seen? AND he makes amazing paella hahaha Jerry's character is awesome.

you know, I was dreading Vic after hearing so much slander from the Internet, but I actually enjoy the character. I haven't disliked an episode he's been in.
