such a cute episode! thinking back, its kind of surprising that a show that made its success on what was basically fantastical man-child antics (not that there is anything wrong with that) can change into such a sweet relationship focus.

as much as i dont care about kid rock, this was some A+ vitriol
just adding a comment to the pile so there is some clear measurable metric for people being engaged in the show. this season has been absolutely flawless, and its a damn shame that nickelodeon is fumbling it so prodigiously.
A++++++++++
season 2 had its share of problems, but these were sooooo good. I was hype before, but after episode 2 im OLD-ZUKO-FLYING-OFF-ON-A-MOTHERFUCKING-DRAGON HYPE
so what you are saying is…. in a movie about flying dragons, having a black character would make it less believable. got it.
from the first headline i saw about it i was under the impression that they had cast Rosario Dawson AS Daredevil, and my interest went from 0% to 1000%. Sadly thats not the case, but im still much more interested than i was before. Shes awesome.
i was impressed with the first 10 seconds of that shot, then it just kept going and going and going. massive technical skills on display. for that large of a production? daaaaaamn
dying
also MICHAEL DORN VOICED THOMAS. If that isnt an instant A, I seriously dont know what is.
i used to think of her as just a shock comedian, but her improvisational delivery and the bizarre directions the punchlines come from is just soooo good. i dont "HAW HAW HAW" laugh, but its more like a fascinating, amusing puzzle of tone and expectation. she's kind of a genius in that regard.
that doesn't really explain the acting though. ive always thought sophie turner did a serviceable job, but this season she's seriously turned it up.
i think its pretty amazing that the whole series we don't even get a glimpse of that acting level. she tries a few times and gets either caught in the lies or just ignored. Then she knocked this scene straight out of the park, immediately struts down the stairs like a playa.
SAUSAGE JOKES
huh! thats reallllllllly interesting. it actually completely explains the few things i didnt like about DoFP. so looking forward to the "full cut".
there really is no need to literally title a seth rogen film "sausage party", as it goes without saying. its not even being self aware, its more like just rubbing it in everybody's face.
"huger games theme park"? is that what they're calling north korea these days? ahhh marketing people.
it looks pretty terrible. "every generic dystopia movie… but on a train!"
i just cant imagine what idiot has a solid gig in literally one of the biggest shows of the decade, one that involves *getting nekkid with emilia clarke*, and turns it down.
wow, the eggers hate is thick in here! dont lie, i know you all had mcsweeny's subscriptions back in the day.
