I finished The Fermata a couple of months back. Was given a copy by a good friend who loved it. I didn't really, found it to be mildly amusing diversion at best. Which to be fair can be enough. It's the only one of his I've tried but I'm unlikely to give another a go to be honest.

I demand Idris Elba be cast because the internet.

How about Jesus, he's basically the anti Carrie.

Never leave home without your 3D glasses.

Sonar but so far

Isn't San Marino one of those American Rugby players that wear helmets and armour?

DAMN YOU, FATHER DICK BYRNE!

The big soundclash at the the end of Babylon when Ital Lion mashes up Jah Shaka by dropping Aswad's Warrior Charge.

The car chase in The Corrupter is terrific and wins on that for me.

I love that this whole interview reads like a Harry Dean Stanton character being interviewed.
Should have ended with:

Sapphire and Steel, Assignment 4, the one with the photographs.

That's the one. Jeeping fuck that scared the piss out of me.

I've been watching it since the late 70's and it's always existed out of order for me. New Tom Baker episodes interspersed with random reruns of older stories on BBC2 at tea time.
Nu Who is a bit more "arcy" but nah, just jump in.

Dentists
Faux Pas'
Television programmes that have a series with more than 10 episodes.

"Magma Cubes are hostile mobs with dark red and black skin and red, orange and yellow eyes found around The Nether."

I really dig this movie. Yeah it's really stagey but for me I just love Mamet's patter delivered by his regulars. It's more like listening to a great record than watching a film.

It's amazing to me that we've come around to having both Dr Who and The Tomorrow People back on TV. We had the unsurprisingly load of old bollox Prisoner remake,  the unpopular but half decent Survivors and the shite Triffids mini series.
The Tories are in power. The economy is fucked.
Just need reboots of Sapphire

Why does it always rain on me?

It's funny how time changes a song. Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris was fine a couple of years ago…

Loads of my peers were into that stuff at the time, I'm just of an age.
