I'd agree that Queen's music is totalitarian as far as that means it's the apex of rockism in an age rockism made little aesthetic sense. Punk rock had alredy drawn a line in the sand, that's what I mean.
However, fascism usually means a different thing and I doubt Dave Marsh was unaware of that.

Man, I wish I could feel warm and fuzzy inside once more, just like this song used to make me feel a bunch of years ago. All it conjures now is nostalgia. Dang!

Hey, at least he said he made her a mix CD. He didn't say "The Spotify playlist". That would be horrifying in terms of making us feel old.

I think Larry King actually is an understudy for the Grim Reaper. He's got the looks going, at the very least.

Yes, that!!!! Thank God I'm not the only one who thought that horrid alien-mutant-robot-thing got a VD from a dude in the club, and was telling the world via a trashy eurodance song.

Man, the lyrics to that Vengaboys song are quite disturbing.

Thanks, man.

It makes sense. PTA is known for his long dolly shots, but that hallway does feel endless. I'd really like to know how they shot/edit that.

And all the Punisher movies, too.

Jonah Hill as W.G. Sebald or GTFO

I was about to say that, hearing "I'm not in love" blasting in the darkness, with LCD Soundsystem just about to take the stage, might be one of the moments I was the most moved in my life.
I had certainly listened to the song before, and even liked it quite a lot, but it's forever linked to LCD Soundsystem and that

"The marriage plot" could stand the HBO-miniseries treatment just as well.

I bet he's downing some pints with Richard Harris and Oliver Reed, wherever those three guys may be.

Do you that it was actually Goni who pitched the "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" idea to Fox?
He has penned a script on another outlaw who came to Bolivia around the turn of the century (I forgot that guy's name), and tried to sell the script to Fox. They disregarded the idea, but started working on BC&SK shortly

Did you know that it was Goni who originally pitched the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid idea to Fox?
He had actually penned a script on some other famous outlaw who came to Bolivia around the turn of the century (I forgot his name, he ain't that famous), but the studio disregarded the idea and sent Goni home

Brian Cranston should play Carlos Sánchez Berzain

I am from Bolivia and lived there under both Goni periods. Trust me, the guy was hilarious. Though I agree that such a comedic spin may not work for this movie.

You tought he was a man, girl, but he only was a muffin.

Yep, you've hit the nail straight in its head. Greenaway is the man for the job. And "Prospero's books" is one of my favorite movies of all time.
