Prince got on stage at one of his concerts and said something like "How can you bring sexy back when I bring it every night". It was probably cooler-sounding and less sensical than that, because Prince, but that was basically the gist of it.

This and "The Way I Are" were the only things worth salvaging from Shock Value. They're both pretty good, though.

If HTML looked like that I would be drinking even harder than I actually am right now.

I saw an ad for an upcoming show of his, and it explicitly said that he would be performing Soul Coughing songs and not his solo stuff. I kinda chuckled because I never thought I would see such a thing, then I thought he probably needs money, then I got kinda bummed. I hope not. But I still don't like his solo stuff

I disagree, things like this are stupid but don't really affect my enjoyment of his work. Definitely stupid, though, like I say. Stupid stupid.

I've had the same experience. And it's hard to listen to a lot of Cross's standup work now, it has gone from angry and funny to just angry.

Some other goober would have been in the movies and taken the cash, might as well give it to Cross. In fact, if I were in his shoes, I would have spent much less time rationalizing that decision.

Yeah, as it turns out I didn't even make it to that point. Fart.

Can someone reassure me about the "Santa Baby" episode? I love CBB but I fucking fucking fucking hate "Santa Baby", such a piece of shit song. Please tell me it's not like, her singing the song but with wacky zany lyrics. Ugh.

I loved him in Boardwalk Empire, absolutely agreed. I don't know anything about any of this other stuff.

In this economy? Come on.

My wife made boxed mac & chee and then added basil from our garden, dried shiitake mushrooms (rehydrated of course), and probably a lot of vinegar and hot sauce. I don't recommend any aspect of anything I just typed. This is a warning.

Yeah, it's not strictly true. I love old Looney Tunes for example. The Three Stooges were cool, though "like" would probably be too strong of a word for me personally.

"In a just world, Madhabi Mukherjee would have the same iconic presence … as European contemporaries like Jeanne Moreau, Catherine Deneuve, and Giulietta Masina."

Something about video (meaning TV and film) made before a certain point is just unwatchable to me, though I often don't doubt its quality. Like out of all the stuff they showed on Turner Classic Movies, I bet a lot of them are pretty good, but the warbly old music and the way the people talk, it's just… yuck. Probably

Please, call him Garry.

Man, screw that guy. His last name is Proops! PROOPS! Come on.

I just wish it was more of her being funny and less goofy people calling in on their shitty sounding cell phones. Sheer sound quality is a big problem for any call-in podcast. And I wish The Kid Mero was elevated to permanent co-host. Love that dude.

She seemed to whisper into her wrist "I gave them a chance" or something like that. I guess that was the signal to move in? (Edit: Watched it again, the trouble started immediately after that, so it probably wasn't a signal.)
