For real. Both because these songs are already straight-up classics (at least for white folks in their thirties like me), and because everything he touches lately turns to shit.

Mad Men, handily. Breaking Bad has those fucking idiot friends of Jesse's that I cannot stand when they're on screen. So many unwatchably annoying moments because of shit like that.

Huh. I just know him from the Batman movies.

Huh, I had never heard that one. I agree, pretty terrible.

nvm

This album is better than everyone says, and I will fight you about it. (OK, I won't really fight you about it, but still.)

It does. It came up on shuffle the other day and I noticed it contains the phrase "art right now is on some slapdash claptrap crap trash" which I think is pretty great.

Yes, it is a meaningless term.

Yeah, wow that is bad.

Homey if you think it's just white people doing that………..

Ehhhhhhhhh I wouldn't recommend that, exactly

Ahhhh man, this song is so good, I always loved the line about "all the world's ills sittin on chrome 24-inch wheels". It's a bummer how bad he sucks now.

…what?

Gotta disagree, they are almost always a slog. Though I will grant that in the intervening years my capacity for attention has been destroyed by drugs and the internet.

I initially had this confused with "Dope Nose", which is a good Weezer song.

That clip seems like a clip of a very touching and well-written show. But I want to watch shows about gorgeous and/or badass narcissists doing whatever they want all the time, not heart-rending voiceovers of good-hearted normal people kayaking.

I saw that earlier too. I've actually been thinking about this stupid thing a lot,  because I realized Borat *never* actually said "my wife" like that. (It does sound like the way he says "high five" in the movie, though.)

Uhhhh —- uhhh —- uhhhh — uhYEAH

I can understand your frustration, but when a song is clearly about to have the shit played out of it, it's best to dissociate from it as much as possible. Because you're going to hear it a lot no matter what.
