That's the only part of the recipe I gave up on. I have a really sturdy baking stone, and a cast iron skillet I don't care about below that that I toss a fistful of ice into when I put the bread in the oven, and it works fine.

The no knead recipe will change your life, seriously. I'd been dabbling with bread with very mixed results for years before that, then I tried the recipe out and never looked back. You will be amazed you made that bread when you have it the first time.
I'm going to try to make myself cook from it later this year and am wondering how much I'll be able to pull off myself.
Bourdain's is one of the few cookbooks where I can get a reliable LOL just reading them. His instructions on killing a lobster, for example.
"They're just big fucking bugs! They'd do worse to you if they could! Do it!"
I didn't ever look at CI before he left, but the idea of even having him there put me off ever subscribing. My wife got me one for Christmas though and it's great.
That was probably Splendid Table again since they do a Thanksgiving morning broadcast.
"Sure you could do turkey, I guess. It does have a bit of provincial charm to it."
I never realized how much I have in common with hammerheads!
I fully turned on the movie Running With Scissors when one of the characters deliberately starved a cat to death and it was played for a jump-cut laugh.
Welp. I was all set to remark on how an MTV reality show seems to have found a not-horrible person to be on it until that last paragraph. That's almost a relief, in a way.
ROWSDOWER.
Kimball is, like, every stereotype of coastal elite, personified. They used to have him on the Splendid Table radio show for a segment where callers have them cook something based on what was in their refrigerator. After a few episodes he couldn't help it and started openly scoffing at callers for their fridge…
My wife and daughter got the pan and used pita to basically wipe it clean afterwards. They never do that.
Well, the article alludes to Netflix kind of picking up the reins on bringing the older episodes to a wider audience, but they haven't done that past the original 20 they released. It's better than nothing, I was just excited for more to come when they started doing it.
Veridian Dynamics: We weaponized a pumpkin.
Made in America Week: Kicked off by everyone everywhere realizing that Trump offshores everything he does.
Kelly is a shiny new toy for Trump to play with.
Kelly's way forward is to either crack down, get rid of the trash hanging around, and push back when necessary, or cave to Trump and let him do what he wants.
Either way, he runs afoul of Trump sooner or later. If he's good at his job, Trump will get jealous that Kelly…
Netflix still hasn't released another wave of classic MST eps, have they?
It's already done though. They switched to a private server that erases emails after complaining about too much "leaking" early in the presidency.
I'm still on their list from signing some sort of petition during the Iraq War.
Question for discussion:
Since the Mooch couldn't even make it to his first "official" day on the job (August 15) does that mean he gets no severance?
Too, is he bound by any NDAs since he never started on the job?
