My wife really liked them. I liked the way they smelled.

I believe my great state of Texas is ground zero for this trend, starting back in the early 90s. Woe unto any pizzeria that opens in Texas that doesn't offer ranch; their yelp page with be littered with 1 star "IM THE CUSTOMER AND I WANT RANCH BLARR ONE STAR" reviews.
I just don't think marketing was as sophisticated back then to break down success, failure, market segments, how a film is positioned, etc for them to act that way.
I was definitely one of those people. In fact I avoided that quest for a while because it seemed like it'd close off alot of quests.
Yes, despite all the heartburn it caused me.
About a month ago I picked up Dragon Age Inquisition and have been playing it. It does the job as a time suck, but I'm not all that engaged with it. I think it's time to admit that the Dragon Age games haven't grabbed me, despite the setting and DNA similarities with other games that are my favorite.
I just got…
Dik's weekly updates on Fallout 4 have me itching for another go at it, despite how disappointed I was with how the larger plot shook out. Also my version was incredibly buggy, and not helped by an older PC. I promised the next time I played it, it'd be on a new system, but I'm not sure I will make it.
That Parrthurnax ending in the original really irritated me so you can bet I beelined for that mod once I heard about it. Even though it's basically the equivalent of a Poochie sceenshot and a voiceover narration saying "I have to go now. My planet needs me.", It's a much more satisfying end.
Oh right. But still, though, they were on Yara's ships, right? Why else would Ellaria and the Sand Snakes be on them?
Yara's army was supposed to be part of the siege of King's Landing, yeah? With them out of the picture, Daenerys needs another Westerosi army there. She will make Jon pledge to support the siege before she helps him in the North. This allows for a disastrous overtaking of The Wall by the ice zombies and sets up for…
My thought too. Except I think this will be the breaking point between Jamie and Cersei. Cersei will be all for torturing and murdering Tyene in front of Ellaria and it will be a bridge to far for Jamie, so he enlists Bronn to break her out.
Make it two. Hold the fruit.
Craig is a fantastic Bond who has been poorly served by his movies. All but Casino Royale have been a disappointment to me. Bringing him back is just compounding the inevitable at this point, and I'm not really interested in where they go with him in the next one.
It's the arc of the Bond movies when a new actor comes in: start out with something fresh, in a new direction, each movie afterwards becomes a paler copy of it, until it finally collapses and they have to start fresh again.
Goldeneye was hailed on its release as an update of the tired Bond formula; it brought sexiness…
It took me a while to get into Reflektor, but once I started focusing on the back half I came around strong on it. So I'm prepared to have to sit with this one too.
That's my ranking too, although Suburbs and Funeral are neck and neck for me.
Hey, same thing with POP-Era U2!
Agreed on Wild Honey but Staring at the Sun is U2's first terrible song. Those lyrics!
I like it too, but I know it's kind of divisive. That run of hourlong eps they start the season off with didn't do it any favors. It came back really strong from the writer's strike though. The s3 finale is so strong that it functions as a nice "what could have been" series finale.
