Fantastic new Flophouse this week. Stu's been killing it lately; I dunno what it is, but I get a gut laugh out of almost every random thing that comes out of his mouth on the show. My skull hurt from laughing so much after the "Lorraine Brokaw" tangent.

Yeah I know in Europe in particular there's this superstition that getting cold when it's hot outside will instantly give you fatal pneumonia.

While I don't do ketchup as much as I used to, I have to admit the only kind that works for me is the American kind: tomatoes, vinegar, sugar, some garlic/onion, that's it. The two things I remember most about my first trips to Canada and Europe were the clove-y ketchup we'd get, and the fact that you couldn't get ice

Alot of the craft burger/hot dog places do make their own in house ketchup, and invariably it sucks. There's a great hot dog place here in houston that only offers its house ketchup, not regular, and so we don't go there because of it. (And no, it's not because I put ketchup on my hot dogs: my kids do, and it's also

Ted kept his fox news gig and got invited to dinner at the white house by Trump. Ted's made violent comments for years about Democrats, Trump knows full well he does because he commented and defended Nugent's remarks on twitter, and made getting him over for dinner a priority. What policies did they discuss? What

Yeah, and then there was the whole TMNT with lips, too.

I just can't get over the pouty, full, succulent lips all the Transformers seem to have.

They'll certainly respond to the call to condemn his remarks.

"Hmm. Not sure how to vote. On the one hand, Johnny Depp said some mean things. On the other, I want to say there was something about healthcare the republicans did . . . gah, I can't remember. Screw it. The Democrats need to learn a lesson about cozying up to violent extremists like Johnny Depp."

A defense the right has pretty much offered for their own sitting president.

I don't understand. Isn't Trump present for all bill signings?

He's been bedridden with the vapors after hearing a celebrity use such violent language against our sitting president.

I'd imagine we have a Governor Cruz to look forward to sooner rather than later.

I seem to remember the "he doesn't know what he's doing!" defense being offered before . . .

Or when an orange lunatic repeatedly threatened one party's presidential nominee.

The difference in this is the reaction. Johnny Depp will—rightly—get roundly criticized by the left and might see his career suffer for it (but it's hard to tell since it's in a tailspin anyways). Elected democrats will distance themselves from him. And of course, Depp, Griffin, etc are nowhere near the mouthpiece of

For instance, latter day Will Ferrell.

If it's in a warm stew or something, yeah. I've made dishes with it that texture where it's room temp or even cold (caponata) and have gradually realized I don't like that texture when it's cold.

Eggplant has lots of different textures though. I assume you mean the collapsing, slimey texture it gets? That can be offset by salting it and letting it purge or grilling/roasting it, which gives it a chewier texture.

Oh I hope they explore the neurotic white New Yorker segment that's been so underserved by cinema so far!
