There's a city in Italy (Venice?) where the locals are derisively referred to as "cat eaters" because they were known to eat from the plentiful local cat population well into the 20th century.

I'm opposed to eating penguin on the basis that it can't possibly be good. All they eat is fish, and all that fat they have, the fish flavor's probably saturated it.
