I suspect that both Quiz Show and Rushmore will be left off the list.  Boo.

I had high hopes after the pilot.  But the tired tv caricatures and the clichéd writing of this episode drained any of my interest and enthusiasm for the show.  How I wish I could still watch Andre Braugher flex his acting chops on Men of a Certain Age.

I thought this was quintessential South Park and a vast improvement over last week's episode.  My only complaint is that I think they pulled some punches on the Honey Boo Boo satire.  A pig heart transplant?  Sure, that got a chuckle out of me; but that subject matter was rife for grotesque satire.  That said, the

I was intrigued by the subject matter, but could only suffer through 10 minutes of it because of the unfocused and grating execution.  Sequencing 10-20 second cuts of people speaking at a camera with music blaring in the background hardly qualifies as direction.  What a mess.

That was brutal.  Usually, the SOA equivalent of case-of-the-weekitis entails some wacky, convoluted plan to get out of the latest and dire source of trouble.  That obviously wasn't the case in this episode.  I'm glad that the production staff had the stones to see a threat through to its likeliest conclusion for once.

So Gemma is entrusting her son's freedom with a pimp whom she just met less than 24 hours ago?  Ugh.  Also, did anyone else notice Charlie Hunnam's accent breaking this episode?

I was half-expecting them to satirize Gold Rush Alaska and Bering Sea Gold near the beginning.  Oh well.  The montage song and Stan's call were the highlights.

No complaints here; I really enjoyed this episode.  It had so many elements that originally got me hooked on Fringe, from the case/freak of the week angle to the chemistry among the characters that had been sorely missing.  I dunno why, but my enjoyment of this show seems strongly correlated with Peter's mood.  It's

Claire Danes' performance was stunning and hit really close to home.  The direction in the last scene was brilliant; the shaky cam, manic edits, and the jazz soundtrack.  So, is Walker just playing the role of a red herring in order to shift any attention from Brody?

Terrible finale.  B- is a generous grade.  Two reactions cemented how overwrought and tame the episode came off to me: 1. I was secretly hoping that Tara would pull an Andrea Yates and then some after Jax's reveal; just something to shake up the complete lack of dramatic tension.  2. I simultaneously rolled my eyes

If this is the best the show can deliver, then I think I'm done with it.  Although I'm a fan of slow burn, character-driven dramas, I still can't suffer poorly executed ones.  And TWD is just that.  The acting and writing are so brutally and consistently bad.  This week, I rolled my eyes at the maudlin bit about the

Am I imagining things, or was that blue meth in the stash full of meds and drugs?

Thanks for the response.  Yeah, I think that's a reasonable explanation.

I found that many of the jokes in this episode fell flat.  In fact, I didn't understand how they were satirizing Wikileaks.  It was nothing more than a Red Herring; and not a funny one at that.

Boy, the well is drying up fast for Sutter.  We ostensibly have Stahl v2 in the Linc character, and Hale v2 in the Roosevelt character.  How many episodes until Jax spies one going down on the other?
