When she came on in that dress I said "Wow, what a dish."

So, was the first forty minutes of the episode a cold open?
"Are you sure you should do this alone? You're pretty stoned."
Which would make Valencia totally flustered. She needs someone reactive like Rebecca for her particular brand of cattiness to work. Heather is too deliciously deadpan.
"You flashed your cervix at my boyfriend!"
"I'm not sure she understands how the reproduction system works."
I loved the Violent Femmes scene. My heart broke a little when when Abby had to pull Raven off the horse. Their surrogate mother-daughter relationship has always held up for me.
I randomly started watching it that episode (I forget what what the lead-in was) because I left the TV on. Found it enjoyable, then engrossing, and then THIS SHOW IS NOT FUCKING AROUND.
But there's a chance that with an actor like Lotz, Laurel could have been a much more compelling character. Or at least someone who could reasonably vie with Felicity for affection.
"You mean you don't need anybody killed, maimed, or robbed." Classic Captain Cold side-eye.
I'm going to have Captain and Tennille stuck in my head for the entire weekend. I don't remember liking Heatwave as much as I did here when he was on the Flash. But he delivered some on point one-liners.
Oh, flashbacks. You are completely inscrutable at this point.
Wesley has one of the best arcs in the entire Whedonverse.
Faith is defintely one of the high points of that season. Her relationship with Angel is just a high point in general.
"Romantic Punk Warrior". Love it.
My main is issues with season four are two: Anytime Connor is onscreen I want to throw things, and I can't stand the loss of Cordelia's autonomy. She becomes this weird Holy Trinity for Connor - his (surrogate) mother, his "wife", his daughter - and loses all of what was special about the character. "You're Welcome"…
I have seen the prom episode a kajillion times and I still tear up when I hear the first few bars of The Sundays' cover of "Wild Horses".
Buffy and Angel (excluding season 4 of Angel, because yikes) are my TV version of comfort food.
I think Thea's chill with it, considering how many people call her "Speedy".
I like smiley Oliver. It makes it less ridiculous when people call him "Ollie".
Possible Liv Superhero Names:
Pale Death
Red Stare (or maybe Glare?)
I actually kind of liked Nightmare, cheesy joke and all.
