I just want to clarify here, was that song's title "Die-area"?

Knowing that this was in all likelihood the only Orpheus appearance we were getting this season made his Vintage Orpheus sheeeeeeerrr verbosityyyyyy even more enjoyable.

On Saturday I showed my friend "Ice Station Impossible" to get him into the show (it worked), but Hank and Dean's respective character traits (Ridiculous to the point of hilarity and whiny child respectively) have been there since day one.

Yeah, the pace was certainly… odd tonight. Figure it's nothing a rewatch couldn't help though.

Which one? Batman #666, 700 or Inc. #6? Because Inc #6 was probably my single favorite comic last year- a masterful exercise in how to tell a complete, captivating story in 18 pages.

I was sorely tempted to watch it last night, but my friend and I have made it a tradition for him to come over Sunday nights and soak in the goodness- I felt I owed him that.

And up until last week, it was a given that David Bowie was the leader of a global criminal syndicate. Things are only definitive in the Venture-verse for as long as Jackson and Doc feel like it.

They all like ship.

Are you reading "Sex"? It's my first Casey ongoing, and I'm fairly certain I'm dropping it this week. Four issues in, and I have no feel for who these characters are, why I should give a shit, and nothing remotely exciting has yet to happen. Is all of Casey's work a ridiculous slow burn?

Microphone check 1,2, what is this?

That last point is actually a good idea. As @avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus noted, I don't know if the term "death grip" would be appropriate, but I have been jerking it dry since I was 13, so I'm sure that isn't helping. I never considered purchasing a Fleshlight, but that's not a bad idea.

Dear Savage Dik,

I was going to like this comment, but I don't think laughing at it necessarily constitutes 'liking' it, so…

BATMAN!

Although I'm sure it was cut for the same reasons that Krypton's sociopolitical elements were cut, Mongul's haunting epilogue is a perfect stinger for the story. Had JLU included it, I might be inclined to agree with you, but as it is, I can't help but think of what could have been when I watch this episode.

I give you oblivion!

Yeah, but Hunter doesn't mind being without it for too long- it doesn't make him feel like any less of a man.

Yeah, I've vehemently stuck up for Emo Dean in past episode discussions, but by the time the first commercial break rolled around, I couldn't help but mutter "Fuckin' Dean" out loud.

Oh shit, you're right- Doc tends to write both my favorite episodes and my least favorite, so I assumed it was a Doc. Damn, Jackson knocked it out of the park this week.
