I used to think that the Zep, Pink Floyd, and The Who were boring bands for old stoners. GOD I was such a fool. I don't think I even actually heard a Led Zeppelin song until I was 18, at which point I realized what an asshole I had been. I guess it's farily unique for a young person in this day and age to hear classic

I am down with basically any GBV for any amount of driving time.

I think they named them Quinn and Finn on purpose as a bit of a joke, because it was this cutesy football player/cheerleader coupley thing.

That kid IS SO COOL. According to his imdb he led a protest at his school for more vegetarian options in the cafeteria. Hearing this, one of my friends said she wouldn't want to have a kid who was cooler than her. But that's why you have kids, so you can raise them to be badass, intelligent people.

I do feel bad for Terri, who I think could have been a really compelling character. I liked her speech last week to Emma, about how it was easy to love Will when she didn't have to live with him all the time. How much more interesting that moment would have been if Terri weren't just a poorly realized, temporary

I know some 16 year olds, and even they think Jenny's make-up is just ridiculous. Her wardrobe, on the other hand, is exactly the kind of fashion disaster my sister and her friends would want to emulate. 1 out of 2 ain't bad, Momson.

Jane Lynch
Jane Lynch is indeed my favorite thing about this show, and if my sisters didn't love it and have a viewing party every week, I would probably skip it entirely. But tonight's episode was fun, because of, as mentioned, all the Sue. I know it's been mentioned before here, that you'll either love or hate this

Is there anything Archer Farms can't make that is slightly cheaper and more delicious than the name brand? (No.)

I agree that this week's episode was possibly the strongest episode yet. However I am not very interested in Rufus and Lily. I generally like Lily, but I agree with Erik that Rufus and his Humpreyness are dragging her and the whole of the UES down. I've never had much of a tolerance for him, although it is funny to

My friends and I are all 20-24 and Monday night is Gossip Girl night, a very serious appointment. Also, my 16 year old sister loves the show. She reports that it is sometimes the topic of conversation in first period on Tuesdays.

I can't even look at Jenny's face, although I tried, to try to determine whether she actually has those horrible dark circles under her eyes or whether she paints them on because it's cool? All that dark make-up on her pale little face is … well, not my style. Or indeed, anyone else who watches it with me on Monday

Mmmmm
Blood Orange soda. I will stick with the Target brand blood orange italian soda, but now I know that I can mix it with grape vodka. Hello, Halloween party punch.

I definitely enjoyed this week's episode, other than the Duff. As Erik mentioned, it was a lot of fun to see some of my favorite character duos reunited. I theorized that Chuck and Jenny have great chemistry because the actors are pretty similar off-camera - debauched rock stars with questionable sartorial sense. I

I saw it in the "Fresh Tracks" on my favies bar's jukebox probably also like 6 months ago. I am a little confused.

Yeahhhhh
I am pretty excited to see this movie. I really liked Jesse Eisenberg on Conan last night, and this review was a lot more positive than I thought it would be with a B+. PUMPED.

October is the cruellest month, breeding
Fockers out of the dead premise, mixing
flatulence and desire, beating
Dull jokes with broken horses.

Taste the Beast: imdb exists to help you put these questions to rest before they even have to be asked! You're right, though.

I too was surprised by its flop status, since almost everyone I know likes this movie. That probably mostly speaks to how insular my friends and I are.

I am not embarrassed to say it
I love this movie. My sister and I quote it semi-regularly, and we can also give a stirring rendition of "Backdoor Lover." I think this case file is pretty right on.

2 and a half, because The Covenant was really popular at the summer camp where I worked and someone was always watching it, but I could only watch it in 15 minute blocks because it was so ridiculous. I'm sure no one else appreciated my alternately bemused or snarky commentary.
