Qualms aside, I did mostly enjoy this episode. Although I would have liked it if Carter were totally evil and using Serena as a sugar mama. Good Carter is boring. But here I am complaining again. I liked it! I'm just good at nit-picking

Was it here
Where I read the observation that Chuck is only as powerful as his neck wear? I was digging his jaunty coral bow tie at the end.
I remember that too! It was probably on that Q&A about meeting famous people.
.cock, yeah. Registered in the Cook Islands
The so-called crimps in the first season are also all solid gold. Although the review of the DVD said that "deconstructing" it kind of ruined it, I did like the conversations about crimping in "The Power of the Crimp" better than the actual crimping. "That's for us, when we're alone in our rooms in the night-times!"
Islands is playing RGRS, and I'm totally pumped! And Headlights, I'm excited about that. I just started listening recently. And I might I MIGHT go see Fuck Buttons, I haven't decided yet. I might not be cool enough.
Then I'll definitely be there. I might set up camp in Denton for October/November, there are a couple of shows I really want to see then.
*Merenghi, sorry, please excuse my typo.
I thought Blair learned (the hard way, and several times) last season that being on top of the social ladder doesn't actually mean anything, and yet she had to go through that entire character arc again in this single episode.
Wisdom from Garth Merrenghi
that GG writers would do well to apply: "With this show, I wanted people to laugh and cry… and shit themselves all at the same time. "
No way, man. G was holding a copy of "The Prince" when she approached Dan and Vanessa in the bookstore. That is a pretty glaring peek into her motivations.
Josh from the Adventure Club
described this as "a gayer, more Canadian version of The Smiths," which perhaps set my standards off of any kind of chart, but "Underage" is pretty catchy.
Additionally, I would like to register my disappointment that this soundtrack does not include Shakira's "She-Wolf," which would seem to have been custom written for the film.
Don't care
I was a little surprised at how good this was. I know the last soundtrack had some cool kid music on it, but it wasn't anything exciting to me personally. On the other hand, I genuinely want to hear almost all of these songs. Bon Iver/St Vincent duet! Adorable city!
I will tell you what will happen with all of these music. You'd like to think it will be a gateway to bigger and better things for the people hearing it for the first time, but what they will actually do with it is use the lyrics on their Bella/Jacob wallpapers they make to post in their deviantart galleries and use…
Oh TA, that's so wise. I didn't have time back when I was in the class since I needed it that day, but yes, I should have just used Amazon.
I will probably see this
But I have about had it with movies about a cross-section of diverse Parisien(ne)s.
Tom: The last time I tried to get a copy of Ran, it was only available at one store in Dallas (I live in Fort Worth). I believe it's on moratorium. Very difficult to find. We had to watch it for a Shakespeare class, and no one could find it on Netflix. I rented it from my library. That's why I'm very disappointed to…
I have to second QED on Josh Groban. Just delightful. Also I liked when they tried to warn Mercedes about getting involved with Kurt. "He's lady-fabulous."
Among my friends we're at a stand-off. Half of us think it's Chuck, and the other half have some crackpot theory about it being Dorota.
