Mads looked so young and so very handsome.

This is completely off-topic, but I just registered on TI (I hope I didn't screw it up). I know you're a mod there, so if you see a registration request with my username here, know it's me.

For me, Mason Verger cutting his own face up in season 2 still remains the most upsetting, horrifying image from Hannibal. It's seared into my brain. I guess horror that involves sentient humans is more scary and unsettling to me than a surreal transformation of a chunk of meat in a twisted deer. But it was a

Hannibal would prefer to eat Will's.

I fell for it too, and in retrospect the way she makes eye contact with the priest in the church and flusters under his stern look really creeps me out. What was that all about if she's a figment of Will's imagination?

I like Will a lot too, he's basically a goofy, funny white knight. What's not to love?

I've seen Black Cat, White Cat and I remember it was hilarious, I'll have to have a Kusturica marathon at some point.

''at wandpoint''… oh Jesus, I'm still laughing.

I like Scarlett Johansson (have you seen Under the Skin? She's wonderful in it), but for this movie they shoul've picked an Asian actress. It's embarrassing, really.

Todd VanDerWerff used to be the major tv writer here, but he migrated to Vox. You can find his review there.

Well I think she's fits the Ice Queen definition because she is very detached and cold in her performances, and her eyes are very haughty looking and her acting is very unsentimental. She's not a passionate actress like Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruz or Gong Li, who come across as very emotional and hot blooded.

Hou a bore? How dare you sir! (or maybe you're a lady I'm not quite sure) Watch Flowers of Shanghai, it's just one of the most mesmerizing, gorgeous movies I have ever seen.

Uh, that sounds so amazing. You should go to all his movies shown. What I would do to see Hou's movies restored and on a big screen.

Hou Hsiao-Hsien's Good Women, Good Men and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's The City of Lost Children are the other 2 movies in competition that year I saw and they're very good films. Especially the Hou one.

What is more tragic in my case is that I'm from a neighbour country, so I should've been more aware of the political context. Heh, I was such a damn empty headed teenager.

Oh, they were snobs, but such delightful ones. And the cinematography and art direction were breathtakingly beautiful.

Yeah, I agree, a lot of his movies look a bit too mannered to me, but when they catch you on the same wavelenght, they can feel spectacular. I loved Only Lovers Left Alive. One of my favourites of last year.

Yeah, I didn't comment either on the reviews, people hate it around here for some reason.

Rinko Kikuchi would be perfect also.

I am a Leftovers fan too! Can I join in the party?
