I agree about the more interesting choices being out of the top 20, as it will be kind of predictable. And the top 100 makes for a more relaxed and eclectic list.

I should see Mysteries of Lisbon sometime soon. I keep postponing it for some reason. I'm really happy Carlos is on here and Tabu, which I love and I think deserved to be higher.

Am I crazy, or this list has more foreign movies than The Dissolve one? That's why I like it more I think.

It's clearly Benjamin Button. Pompous, bloated nonsense.

Upvoted for that top 50 wishlist. Gorgeous movies all.

You should get to watching then. This is a really good list. It kind of amazes me how good it is.

Is she Lena Dunham's long lost twin sister?

I want a finale like the Six Feet Under one! From Sally's perspective. I want her to be fine and live happily ever after.

Time is a flat circle, huh?

X-Men First Class gave her that and look what happened.

Oh, no worries, you didn't offend me. I was joking too. And do listen to Sigur Ros. You should start with the Ágætis byrjun album. They might sound a bit too weird at first, but persist, their music is something else. So beautiful and otherworldly.

Hey, I like The Black Keys. Even their newer albums. They're better than The Killers for one. They don't belong on the same list as Avenged Sevenfold and Linkin Park for Christ sakes.

I'm not referring to this when I say she is the noble sufferer stereotype, but to the fact that the writers

My deepest sympathies. One of my cousins died of cancer a year and a half ago and it was the most terrible experience. Hugs.

So much better. I'd say it's the best of them, with some really astonishing moments.

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. There's a Twin Peaks reboot? I didn't know that. She absolutely should be in it.

I must say that I'm not American, and my country was at first part of the Axis and then switched sides to the Allies in 1944. But it must have been hell for my grandfather. One of his stories that really shook me was how he stayed by his dying best friend after he was shot in the head. Such awful times.

And she puts so much passion in her performance, how much life she gives her characters. It's really a pity she hasn't done a movie worthy of her talents in a long time. I think she's a better actress than her friend Nicole Kidman, because she dives with all she has in her characters, whereas you're always aware

Oh, yes, definitely. Naomi Watts did the best work of her career with him. I love MD because of her. She took that movie and made it all her own. They have similar sensibilities and it shows.
