This is news? The script has been floating around for a while, and it's had Brad Pitt's signature all over it. Some hardcore China-bashing runs through it. But, hey… that's his bag and he's kicking down the dough.

Problem is, it read like a C- review rather than an A-
Too Positive.
It makes my head hurt.
They're making a Stretch Armstrong movie, y'know?
In 3D, of course. The possibilities…
After The Village and Lady in the Water, The Happening wasn't all that bad. Bad, but not all that.
Y'know, I feel sorry for the kids…
"[The actor] hereby grants Fox three exclusive, irrevocable options to engage [the actor] in up to, respectively, three feature-length motion pictures."
Back when I was sixteen…
… my friends had an extra ticket to The Who. But before I could head off, my mother found out about it and wouldn't let me go. Said concerts were too dangerous.
Since when does a black comedy need to point out that's what it is? Isn't that part of what makes the beast tick? I mean, watch something like William Friedkin's Bug… pure black comedy played straight. No winking at the camera, no "unintentional" laughs.
Well, someone in the WBC is a closet Gaga fan…
I mean, one entry woulda taken a hell of a lot of listens to craft the parody. But two parodies in six months? Means someone's doing a lot of listening to Lady Gaga.
If you watch [REC], there's no reason to watch Quarantine. Unless you don't like subtitles. It's pretty much a shot-for-shot remake, but padded out a bit more, with a more on-the-nose explanation for what's going down (super-rabies). Personally, I though that everyone screaming at each other in Spanish added to the…

Anyone that goes down on a knee after being handed a Smirnoff Ice deserves anything shoved in their mouth.
I enjoyed Spillane's Hammer series when I was younger. Been a while since I've read one, but I recall the writing had a hardboiled staccato style that went well with the first-person of the character. Hammer wasn't a poet, he was an animal with a vague conscience. The writing works well to convey that.
About the "Shamalangadingdong"…
Seriously? This meme is kinda racist. Not sure if I've ever heard his name said properly out loud.
I'm pretty sure that it's a metaphor for the creative process in Hollywood. Wait, no…
"…everybodys an asshole in the movie, but only the pro-lifers look insane…"
Why do people need to have their reactions to a movie redeemed by other folks having the same reaction, at the same time? Am I normal? What is normal? Oh, we're laughing at the same time. We're normal.
Lansdale rocks…
…one of the only good things coming out of Texas for the last decade or so.
Out of that lot, it's PIRAHNA 3-D that gets the question mark?
Okay, then.
