I thought Man From UNCLE was great. Visually stunning, the leads were interesting and had great chemistry, and it was a generally well-made action movie. I recommend it.

I don't think I've ever been angrier in a movie theater. I went in looking forward to it - great reviews, I really liked Batman Begins - and it was just dull, pointless, "edgy" garbage.

I like that people take care of them. I was in Dubrovnik a few years back and the street cats just seemed kind of sad and beaten-down, which made me feel guilty about my own spoiled housecat.

I love tendon. The very few pho restaurants that exist here don't have it, which I guess makes sense, but it's still disappointing to me.

Christ, but I miss pho. The Dutch haven't quite figured it out yet, and the places that do have it it's like €17, not as good as what I had in Seattle, and you can't get tendon.
