I actually think all of them, save a David Schwimmer, might disagree. Episodes may not be any good, but Matt LeBlanc is getting a paycheck from that. Also, he's pretty good in it.

Definitely New Girl for me, which has taken the "New Friends" title from HIMYM.
I was 2 in 1994, so it's a show that has existed since the dawn of time for me. I'm French, but was living in Germany until 2000, and I don't remember ever watching a Friends episode until we came back to France (the sitcom I remember from that time in Germany is The Cosby Show).
I mean, how could we know ? Unless you're Ukrainian, I'm not sure I would juge her accent. It sounds stereotypical, but… people have strong accents sometimes.
Exactly. When people say that GoT should show more penises, I always think that we basically see as many penises as we see vaginas, if not more.
I knew Hannibal was a killer and a cannibal going in from cultural osmosis as you put it. I think the show would be very confusing initially to someone who doesn't know what's going on with Hannibal : Here's Mads Mikkelsen, and he's a super weird psychiatrist ! Also, brilliant cook ! Also, here's a random shot of…
Well, yeah, that would be a spoiler. Just because something is old doesn't mean everyone has read/seen it. If that friend knew I haven't seen the Godfather and intend on watching it some day, he could avoid saying that.
Agreed, as someon who hasn't seen any of the movies or read any of the books, I think Molly should be more careful. Maybe have a spoilers section under the Stray Observations, à la Todd's "Speaking with the Fishes" in The Sopranos ?
The dialogue definitely sound very Milch-ian at times, which isn't surprising given this show's many ties to Deadwood.
Heterosexual = prudish ?
Best line in the history of comedy.
It's not that broad, and it's not family-centric at all, so…
I don't really get the obsession with Strong Belwas. He's pretty much the definition of an expendable character.
At some point in book 5, Dany wonders about the possibility of staying in Meereen, but the problem is that she's perceived as an outsider, and her abolitionist stance creates endless problems. Westeros is the ultimate goal because it's where she comes from, and also because it's the only palce where she has any king…
I'm not entirely sure how much goulags count as "European", but fair enough.
And one of the best features this site does. I remember that the Breaking Bad walkthrough was pretty much the way I got into the AV Club, and it's pretty awesome to see they're willing to extend it to comedies.
2 possibilities :
1) She dies
2) She's part of the Red Wedding plot and survives.
You did not suggest that just now. What if D&D are reading this and go : "Wow, way to solve our big problem !".
I don't think it has been spelled out at all in the show, FWIW.
I've been thinking that for a while, and this scene all but confirmed it for me. In the books, Jeyne Westerling isn't really part of the whole Red Wedding plot, but her parents are. It seems like this time, Talisa is doing the whole betraying thing by herself. Clever girl !
