He doesn't have to cross his own timeline though, does he ? He can just come back five minutes after he left to drop them at their house, can't he ?

I'M GONNA HIT YOUR ASS WITH A SKI !
Oh, you're right. I assumed it had been pretty much wiped out by the rise of islam (especially since you find some shades of it in the Shia branch), but I guess not.
Varys sounded very Hobbesian in this episode. Actually, they both sounded very Hobbesian, only Littlefinger was like : "Homo homini lupus ? War of everyone against everyone ? Sign me up !"
Pretty much. Rh'llorism = Zoroastrianism is actually the most obvious by far, except people miss it because Zoroastrianism is a dead religion.
It was always obvious to me in the books that it wasn't her. Tyrion insisted so much on her culpability without any kind of proof that I never bought it. Then when he figured out the dagger thing, I assumed Joffrey was also behind the attempt on Tyrion's life.
Might be too late to make Kelly as a wildling happen (and Alys Karstark wouldn't have that… lovely accent)
It was great, and then it aired the seocnd half of its finale episode, which completely misunderstood what the rest of the show was about.
Yeah, because knowing the lyrics to a song means you love it. Definitely.
For a joke study about a TV sitcom, this a pretty dumb study.
Being born in a caucus certainly seems like an interesting origin story.
I double-checked to see if I hadn't missed an episode before I got it, so you're not alone.
Oh, right. I was confusing it with (SPOILERS) the scene where she learns the dragons have been eating another kind of meat. That's tiwards the end of book 3 right ?
Oh. Isn't that right at the end of ASoS ? They're definitely speeding things up A LOT for her then.
Agreed. They didn't need to claim that the Karstarks were HALF the army. A quarter would have definitely been a huge impact already (and also been pushing it probably).
I guess the resurrection was somewhat underwhelming from a book reader perspective (curious to know how it played out for viewers), but I think the fight exceeded my expectations by A LOT. The fight was really not that special in the books (not to me at least), but was gorgeously shot here. Also, the flaming sword…
Who's to say that the army of undead isn't the Lord of Light's doing ? Well, not the Lord of Light's doing, but it can certainly be seen as coming from an entity from the same religion.
I didn't. I am actually pleasantly surprised at how toned down the "Jon/Ygritte lovefest" is. This is basically the first scene of the season that adresses it, and it was lovely (not only because Rose Leslie got naked, although that helped). It captured the tone of the scene in the books and was very efficient and…
Change approved !
They did have the scene in the pilot where Robert comes down to the crypts and discuss Lyanna with Ned before offering him to be Hand. That's probably the only time she's mentioned in the show, but it's not like she's mentioned that often in the books either.
