It's more about the fact that Neal is in many ways the ultimate avatar of what Sorkin's trying to say with this show about being principled. Neal had to go to another country rather than name his sources, shouldn't Sorkin treat him like a huge hero ?
HIMYM was, overall, a better show than The Newroom, yeah, and it's not particularly close.
Upvoted for the awesomeness that is Caravan Palace. Rock it for Me is a pretty good one.

I agree that the evidence is shaky, but it seems clear that Pizzolatto was inspired by Ligotti's writign and didn't properly credit him. Definitely not worth going to court, but it can still be criticized.
The problem is he didn't acknowledge Ligotti at all when citing influences on the show until asked about it specifically, and even then reluctantly and only twice out of a billion interviews.
There's no contradiction there : what you call a British accent is actually English, and is markedly different from a welsh or scottish accent. Not to mention that there are also a bunch of different accents within England.
I know tone is hard to discern on the Internet but if we can't tell jokes without saying "lol", I think I'm quitting.

Yeah but Grimsund was resisting arrest (or escaping it, not sure if it goes in the same category).
Why ? He is guilty of murder in the first degree, no question about that. He would get the minimum charge for it (no idea what it is in the state), but he should definitely be convicted.
He didn't do the right thing though ! Killing in cold blood is never the right thing. This is what bugs me the most about this finale, especially when compared to the movie. I understand why Gus shot Malvo, trying to arrest him alone would have been suicide (which is why he sould have immediately called for backup,…
A little late to the party, but there was actually a thread about this on BGG by the guy who made sure they got the rules right and stuff : http://boardgamegeek.com/th…
If they don't know about it, how can they have nightmares about it ?
Honestly I don't get why people would deserve to know. What's it to them ? And not knowing is probably way better in this case, because you won't have nightmares about it.
Nicely done, I was looking for the connection as the episode ended and couldn't find it.
