I don't have it at hand, but I'm pretty sure it is in the books, FWIW.

Sorry Todd, but yeah. Qyburn is a fairly important character. I'll give you that the axing of the Bloody Mummers means we've only seen him once in the show so far (when Robb arrives at Harrenhal), and in a weird situation that doesn't happen in the book at that. But he does help heal Jaime's arm in the books too, so…

Or State of Play (the miniseries)

Agreed. I watched one per week from episode 5 and on (following the AV Club's rythm), and I feel like 2 per week would have worked better in the latter half of the season.

A little thing that made me chuckle : Jack's wife describes her cancer as cells trying to grow a liver in her lungs… just after we see her refuse to eat foie gras at Hannibal's (foie gras literally means "fat liver").

Baby Boomer Santa ! Thank you for everythiiiiing !

Seconded. Also, "pretty brilliant" doesn't even come close to doing here justice. Seriously guys (and gals), watch it.

Isn't that standard ? Most right-handed people wear their watch on the left-hand, so why should it be different for lefties ?

I am so glad they're not dabbling into the whole prophecy business. It is by far the most annoying thing in the books. Everyone believes in their own little prophecies, which seem to either come true or be complete bullshit entirely at random. It also gives us a lot of characters speaking in cryptic know-it-all

Yeah, Doctor. Yeah, time-travel !

Her habit of… em, making tiny mistakes would probably be a problem but …

Agreed. As someone else said here, it seems like the show will be much more enjoyable if it drops the bullshit appearences of a character drama and goes for a straight-up psychological thriller.

When they first said his name, I thought he was gong to be a Donald Trump-like figure.

I don't agree with the idea that we should stop airing anything violent because of tragedies such as these. I understand why the Castle episode was pulled, as it specifically featured bombings, but it doesn't look

Well, yeah. Let me put it this way : the situation in Boston holds some similarities in terms of national coverage and trauma (the MIT shooting takes it up a notch, but still) to something that happened in France about a year ago (a lone gunman of islamic tendencies shot and killed seven people including three

I'd say 6 seasons too late. I like season 4 and all (and have a higher tolerance for season 5 than most), but a 2-season run would have been perfect.

I think it was used on the soundtrack for Death Proof (I don't remember which scene this was, but they definitely used a song I remember from that movie in those episodes). I doubt he's asking about Eye of the Tiger because… that's pretty easy to recognize.

He IS the Captain after all, how could any ship set sail without him ?

I'm pretty sure he meant that it was both.

If you mean chemistry as in sexual tension, no. But I agree that they're a great pairing, and pretty much the only way the show know how to use Ann at this point.
