Oh that would be a great idea but this stuff I think was actually tainted. I mean, you expect a low level of quality from wine that's $11.99 for 5 litres but I have been buying this stuff regularly (hey, I'm unemployed and broke, alright?) and it's usually at least inoffensive… this cask tasted like chemicals.

Glad to hear this is good, I was given the Tim Footman biography as a gift a few years ago and, while interesting in the sense it filled in a lot of details of Cohen's life I wasn't aware of, as a book it was a tad rubbish.

I don't know if she was homeless but when I lived in Japan there was an elderly woman who would shit on the pavement outside our house (it wasn't a proper street, just a warren of footpaths). I saw her do it once, my flatmates other times. We were too polite to say anything, she too into it to stop.
