Seppuku time again, it would appear.
Seppuku time again, it would appear.
Wow, I had pretty much the opposite reaction to The Avengers - enjoyed the start and the end but thought the 2nd act dragged far too long (I did fall asleep a couple of times, in Whedon's defence).
Relatively quiet weekend here, spent Friday night finishing Fringe season 1 and have to admit I actually gasped at the final shot. The season took a long time to grow on me but I followed the advice of everyone I had spoken to about it and stuck with it and am extremely glad that I did. Season 2 started just as…
Peter Mannion himself; though seeing the picture at the top I automatically assumed he was playing Morse himself and really wondered how that was going to work…
Oh dear, shows what I know! Is that considered sabermetrics? I've always wondered how you could combine those into cricket, just in case there wasn't enough stats-wankery in cricket already (and there isn't).
Oh man that has the potential to be really charming (if nothing special) but obviously not in his hands… was the Tour one you mentioned well received then?
They stole it? I have no idea who you are or who that person is but I think they are an absolute fuckwit and absolutely agree with your final sentence.
@avclub-7dc8b441cf4e6fe9bc806679c4579e68:disqus Hell, I did it when I was in my mid 20s with a colleague. She liked me and I was still getting over a broken engagement from a couple of years before so I thought "What the fuck?" and it was one of the worst decisions of my life.
Yeah that couplet was absolutely amazing
My brother once beat me up for saying that Grover was my favourite SS character over Oscar the Grouch. I would say that I don't think Oscar would approve but I don't know, he seems pretty misanthropic…
I do and I'm not.
Oh man this song…
There is and it's glorious http://www.youtube.com/watc…
I was watching S3 last night and Ryan definitely didn't venture into full-blown arsehole territory until Branch Closing when he breaks up with Kelly because they won't be working together anymore, then had a talking head about how well the branch closure was gonig for him. Before that the worst he had done was throw…
[Paul Lierberstein] is everything that's wrong with [the later series' of The Office].
@avclub-734ffb84cfa214922893511fae356b45:disqus There's at least one more reference to it in Branch Closing when Michael picks up the photo and talks about how kids grow up so fast or something and Stanley grabs it back and hides it from him.
I love this gimmick just for the reactions, they make my day every time.
Like Franklin in Arrested Development, that fact alone makes me laugh way harder than it should.
Absolutely do get the Dinosaur Jr. one, it's not mentioned in the article but it has Jay Mascis on vocals and is really quite fantastic… I'd go as far as to say it features the definitive version of Feel the Pain.
Post-retirement has been Kingdom Come, American Gangster and Blueprint III, right? I'd say the latter was the only decent one from the bunch, definitely the only one Ive replayed in the years since anyway.
