I wasn't a fan of this show (watched the pilot and decided it wasn't for me) but watched 'Detention' because the adverts played up the Breakfast Club homage aspect of things. All I remember is thinking that surely you'd be expelled if you were caught wanking at school rather than just get Saturday morning detention?

And they were going to air like six weeks apart, and I don’t think anybody—apart from the fact that A.V. Club commenters would probably do a second-by-second breakdown of both episodes and determine which jokes were better than other jokes—would really see any problem with it.
