one of my all time favorite episodes. Mostly for the writing… it was so spot on. Secondly, for the quiet moments (Adam drinking spoiled milk, Hannah looking behind her before we understand what's going on). Thirdly, for the comedy: anything Ray says, Hannah bumping into that guy 8 times, Adam saying he would bring

reminds me of a quote from League of Their Own "If you can't play ball in this, you can't play ball with us. Right now there are 38 girls with a train ticket home who will play in a bathing suit if I ask them."

Parenthood was a guilty pleasure for me for its first and second season. Now it's just  a pleasure (that makes me cry on a weekly basis).

I think that's the hard part. I only came for Connie (although I am staying for the music), and it is so difficult not to compare it to FNL, but it isn't even close.

I wasn't quite clear on what exactly was the straw that broke Teddy's back. Was it Deacon's taunting glares during the performance, or was it just the stuff he said to Teddy backstage ahead of time?
