Say what you will about STP, but they took out some good bands when they first got big. They had Jesus Lizard open for a while too.

One of his CDs came with a DVD of that show. The well-edited version that aired and made it look like he did well, and the raw show, beginning to end, where he bombed horribly.

I remember that tour, Atari Teenage Riot opened it and confused everyone. It was hilarious.

Haven't seen Mastodon in years, but Clutch is always amazing.

2000-ish. Sno-core Tour. System of a Down and Incubus co-headlining. Mr. Bungle opening. Left after Bungle.

It did have some genuinely innovative camera/CG work for the time.
