There probably isn't a faster way to guarantee I'll stop watching than splitting up the season.  I hate that with a passion.

A "D" is a ridiculously out-of-proportion grade and this review is nigh-on unreadable.  Some episodes in a long arc show are foundational, and they should be graded appropriately.  This one deserves a C+/B-, but a D is just silly.

@Sunspear:disqus , it also surprises me not at all that you missed my point.  Gonzo's point, of course, was that if you watch a show filled entirely with *Democratic* rants and you don't find that a turn-off, then you are nothing more than a self-indulgent fart-sniffer.  Seriously, the fact that you think good comedy,

This seems like a reasonable suggestion.  Sorkin could then craft scenarios that are not inherently partisan in nature, get some creativity injected into the show, and ensure that the show has some sense of purpose.

Oh look!  Someone rushes in to defend the utter lies surrounding the Giffords thing despite the fact it has been disproven over and over again.  Gonzo, this is the reason why Sorkin didn't do what you say he should have:  because his fellow ideological travelers still defend that piece of hackery to this day.

People on the same side should be pissed off because Sorkin is simultaneously pandering and engaging in personal fantasy.   This show is Aaron Sorkin daydreaming about L'esprit de l'escalier

Ha ha.  Right - Sorkin's fanfiction is okely-dokely because at least it's "realistic"…or something.
