For me, the courtroom stuff just played like weak sketch comedy and the smug self-satisfaction of Fey, Minor and Hamm at all the funny they knew they must be bringing was really off-putting. With all the bitching people did over Tim Blake Nelson's overdoing it I'm surprised people are so enamored with this stuff.

"Hey, you put your feet up on the furniture at home?"
"Yeah…"
"Well, that's probably why your mama sent you away."

Unfortunately, his wife was never old enough to have children.

Kind of had the same feeling…that he could only stand things not going his way for so long before he became destructive in one way or another.

Oh, come on. Who would actually buy drugs from that man?

He claims to just be a guy riding the wave, but he's more like the wave…either you're with him or you (should) get wiped out. It's good to know that he has no genuine responsibility in the world.

Maybe throw in a dash of Brandon Hantz, with his creepy erotic fixation for
a virtual stranger quickly turning to a seething hatred.

Scott Weiland mentioned in an interview that during Stone Temple Pilot's first big tour he got bored on the bus one day and started going through his bandmates' tapes and cds, curious about what kind of music they listened to. As he listened to album after album he nodded to himself and thought "Oh, so that's where we

It almost looked like Jon knocked it over himself. It seemed like he got down as far as he could then blew into the center of the vase just before it fell.

There was a nice bit where John Hodgeman proclaimed the Flop House his "nemesis podcast".

With All-Stars it was the egos and theatrics of people milking a second fifteen minutes of fame that wore him down (he was able to rationalize it all as "good tv"). With Thailand he admitted to flat out despising the people.

I got caught up in the Jon and Jaclyn drama only because I saw that erroneous CBS promo where they promised a "drawing rocks tie" this week.

Good luck, I think Thailand is still the only season where Probst found the contestants so detestable that even he couldn't be bothered to care about the outcome.

I'm fairly certain that Hicks cited footage he'd seen on public access tv as "proof" that the Branch Davidians were intentionally burned alive by the FBI as part of a plot to keep Americans submissive. It wouldn't shock me if he and Jones had crossed paths.

"It's clearly satire, but they didn't include any jokes."
"Just like Sports Night!"
"No, Sports Night was a sitcom without any jokes."

Carrie Fisher has long acknowledged that the film is far more Nichols' adaptation than her's.

Nichols often had a heavy hand in shaping material he was planning to direct. He worked so closely with Bo Goldman during Melvin & Howard's development that during his Oscar speech, Goldman made it a point of thanking Nichols for his guidance even though Nichols pulled out of the production before shooting.

Fosse did pull off the neat trick of winning the Emmy, the Oscar and the Tony for directing all in the same year.

As in "it's cute at times and well perfomed, but insanely overrated"? I guess you have a point, but I'd say Rushmore is a little more on the mark.

I remember a lot of the media buzz around this release seemed to be in the vein of Well, she made her "man-hating album" and now she's following it up with her "woman-hating album. All I could think when hearing that was "clearly you never listened to either" (my thought balloon had way more swears in it at the time,
