Figures the step-up episode would happen the week my son decides to push buttons on the DVR box so it doesn't record :(

I think the unexpected success of the original 30 films pretty much doomed the next 30 to failure.  Simmons and company can deny it, but there's no way that ESPN management didn't have more of a hand in shaping this set of documentaries after the first edition actually turned out to be a big moneymaker.

I have to say, after rewatching season 4 last year, Marc Blucas was pretty underrated and got a raw deal.

SEASON 4 WAS THE BEST SEASON OF THE OC!

I really think the Mindy Project would be better off if they just embraced a completely fluid cast and premise and ran with it.  The show almost always works better if you consider it as a series of sketches or vignettes mostly featuring Mindy.  Every one short of her and maybe Chris Messina should be fair game to be

Yea, some of us talked about this last week.  Moving this feature to Monday was a bad move.

The season long wedding is working for me.  Best "new/alternate setting" season of a show since the Saved By The Bell gang worked at the beach for that summer!

Now do a crossover with that guys crazy shared Pixar universe!

I think seasons 1-2 and then season 4 all got quality word of mouth before the decline began.  I didn't start watching the DVD's until season 4 was wrapping up and I doubt I was alone.  It's basically the same phenomenon that helped Breaking Bad, except for a shitty show.

It's sad that I initially read that as "hastily written in someone's Fiat on the way to shooting the episode" and it still made sense.

I don't think I'll be able to watch any more college football this weekend.  I'm still cursing to the football heavens today.  Fuck you Texas.

I predict I will spend at least two hours watching DVR'd episodes of this show at my in-laws because the only other thing they have recorded is Hot in Cleveland.

I just appreciate the balls of turning a throwaway line about a fictional (in-universe) tale into it's own book.

Minority Opinion: She got more attractive as she got older and put on a little weight.

The Horse and His Boy or gtfo

There also required to do more than just fill ungodly amounts of airtime in order to be successful.

You'd think some Fox executive with half a brain would look at what Dads is doing, look at the critical reception for Brooklyn, and figure out they should give Brooklyn the benefit of the doubt and more time to find an audience.

I finally convinced MNCyGal to watch it with me last night and she loved it too.  I hope it doesn't get the Ben & Kate treatment.

It's nice to see someone return where they belong.  KoQ wasn't great, but it was probably the best of the nearly identical sitcoms of that generation.

Disqualified for violating a previously unmentioned rule.
