Do you have time in the morning, or are you a snooze button addict that is rushing out the door every morning?  If you're the former, invest in a crock pot.  There are lots of delicious and super-easy slow cooker recipes and you get to come home to supper already done and your home smells delicious.

Iowa State….*sigh*

Cyclones and Vikings are both depressing right now.  My current sports fandom is mostly looking forward to basketball starting and feeling guilty about making my son cheer for these teams.

I honestly wish I had quit my previous job instead of sitting around being miserable, doing a shitty job, and generally waiting to get fired.  If you have a little savings to be financially secure for awhile and have a definite and reasonable new job you'd like to focus on attaining, I think its the way to go.

I wish I could find a secluded office to hide in.  I sit next to a newish hire at our office, and apparently she has no concept of trying to work problems out on her own before asking a coworker to drop everything and do it for her.

On the bitching about co-workers front, I'm trying to help out with training in one of our new hires, even though I've only been here 6 months myself.  This girl came out of school with zero practical experience and seems to get completely overwhelmed 5 minutes into any explanation of anything.  It's exhausting.

But that's every comedy pilot.  And with this show, there's enough of a pedigree behind it to have good faith that the hits will be built on and the misses will be eliminated or worked around.

Ok, as someone who had no pre-conceived notion of her prior to last night, what in this episode was supposed to make me take notice?

Maybe it's because I didn't come in as a big fan, but I thought Peretti was just ok.

Does Frontline stream anywhere?  I'd really like to have that section on the Copts handy the next time I have a HS friend or cousin posting some nonsense about persecuted American Christians on Facebook.

I have a lot of hope for Brooklyn Nine-Nine.  But I think Hot Rod is severely underrated, so…there's that.

Not that great fruit gummy candies.

Yea, forget writing, cast, or characters, it's an original high-concept that really makes a sitcom take off!

I will anxiously await my binge-watch on Netflix a year from now then.

I was pretty sure I had heard he had a pretty successful business and was fairly wealthy before the insane number of kids happened.  IF that's not true, then yea, they are the worst.

Charisma had a recurring role on Greek, which was fun, but that wasn't a huge show by any means.  It was basically like watching an alternate universe where Cordelia went to college instead of LA and became a bitchy sorority sister.

I don't mind them as much as some of the other TLC trash since they were apparently capable of economically supporting that many children for years without a reality show.  In contrast, I assume that all of Jon and Kate's kids were sold to a sweat shop 6 months after their show got cancelled.

Why does middle America always get blamed for this shit?  Dumb people are dumb wherever they live.
