Curious George is the only thing that keeps my wife and I from engaging in screaming matches with our child when he insists on waking up before 5:30 every day.

I wasn't there either, but I think the easy explanation is that "Hooray for the end of the immediate threat" just doesn't work as a chant when you're burning off excess adrenaline and emotion.

I think anyone with an ounce of intelligence wanted him brought in alive so we could get every last bit of information possible out of him.

Can't keep people wound up that tight for that long and not expect some sort of release when the immediate threat is over.  I don't think any of those people are really forgetting that people had died.

That's pretty much me to a tee.  And on the flipside, if I can purge my house of the stuff and decide I'm going to break the habit, I can go for months without and not really miss it.  But once I start, I will binge.  No middle ground.

Hey, that's not all bad.  Even though it shouldn't be in my wheelhouse, I enjoy Call the Midwife.

Also, "But why does he have to turn green?"

I definitely have days where I have to stop listening to be productive, and I've definitely gotten weird looks while trying to stifle a laugh.

I'm with  @avclub-d69768b3da745b77e82cdbddcc8bac98:disqus , in fact I would go so far as to say that being familiar with Street Fighter might actually make the movie MORE inexplicable.

I'm actually nearing the end of the backlog I built up while I was unemployed, to the point that I probably should start sampling some new stuff to add to the rotation.

I'm curious what everyone's Podcast listening habits are.  Do you have a regular rotation of shows you listen to every week?  Do you pick and choose specific episodes based on guests/reviews/word-of-mouth?  Do you stockpile specific shows for binge listening?

I thought the Nash episode was really the better one.  Depressing was the wrong choice of word to describe some of his takes, it was definitely the stronger of the two this week if you're only going to listen to one.  County had a weird energy this week, but that could have just been the tacked on Boston thing at the

It was especially funny when juxtaposed with their guest, who apparently had a doctorate in Street Fighter mythology.  June was hysterical with her complete bewilderment as to what a Street Fighter was and why there wasn't more people fighting in the streets.  My only disappointment was that they didn't even bring up

I enjoyed all the scenes where Thrax put his foot up a Bajoran's ass.

My only problem with the episode was that in all of the Alpha Quadrant there isn't a planet that doesn't have a beach and also a difficult hike or something for Worf?  The future has only one legitimate vacation spot?

How does weird 3-D disc game not exist for iPad yet?

No, it wasn't him.

I gave up on Family Guy years ago, but I actually thought McFarlane was OK as the Oscar host.

gross

wait, this was a thing?
