I'll go one step further and say that it is a better Indiana Jones movie than Crystal Skull.

Ok, but if the first time you saw a rainbow you actually walked across it and met a race of powerful beings that everyone is 99.99% sure are the Norse Gods? Not really an apples to apples comparison.
Screw Iowa City!
I don't remember a lot of Batman episodes specifically from my childhood. I do however remember that those plant children creeped me the hell out.
This needs to be a real thing…immediately.
I think there's some decent sports content out there as well. If you're someone who really follows say college sports, but could care less about the NBA or MLB, the sport-specific podcasts put out by ESPN, CBSsports and others are pretty nice.
I think if more podcasts stayed away from the general "jokes and interview" format it would be fine. I make a point to listen to shows like Sklarbro Country and Professor Blastoff because while they may have the same guests as everyone else, they for the most part stick to their niche and try to make the guests play…
If anything Jake is just way too confident for a kid that age. Shouldn't he be watching her from afar and struggling for conversation?
They do kind of touch on his lack of delegation later in the season when they reveal that most of his help is poorly trained, incompetent or…
Battle lines especially seemed very TOS-ish to me.
Todd, I have to disagree. I'm totally fine with Katims casting a whole show with misfit Parenthood guest stars. If he doesn't have enough he can fill in the gaps with unemployed FNL actors.
You'll never get Madagascar. NEVER!
No kidding. That was an underappreciated show. I get way too excited when I see actors from that show turn up other places.
Star Trek is really it's own beast. Is there another TV property that's had that many spin-offs and attempts to extend it's mythology? Stargate is the only one that comes to mind. I'm inclined to think that the normal rules of TV Club Classic wouldn't apply, just because Voyager/Enterprise could potentially be such…
I don't think you guys are wrong, because that was my experience as well, but it almost sounded like she had applied before Adam had lost his job and decided to go in on an insane business venture with Crosby. It's possible that they did have that conversation and just neglected to re-visit it once the circumstances…
I want it to happen because I remember liking Voyager a lot when I watched it as a kid, but I haven't seen it in years and have only recently become aware of the hatred so many people have for it. I'm assuming it won't hold up if I start watching again, but I want to know for sure.
I'm in a similar boat. I didn't really pay attention to DS9 at all during it's original run until they added Worf, and even then sparingly. I remember thinking it was OK, but wasn't crazy about it. You're on your own with Enterprise though.
I think if you're at a somewhat similar transition point in your life, it seems a lot more funny because it's kind of relatable. Personally, I'd rather watch a show where the couples get along and have a funny rapport with each other than yet another show with a constantly bickering couple.
I really don't think the show has really focused all that much on the baby, except for a few episodes. It's really more about adjusting to that new phase in your life than baby antics.
I kind of hope they end up adding Jason Lee to the regular cast for Season 2.
