I recently watched the Star Wars Despecialized Edition and it's so hi-res that in the scene where the stormtroopers get into Leia's spaceship you can see their plastic armour bending as they move. It really showed that the first movie had an almost 1970s Dr Who budget for costumes.

I was 27 when Episode I came out and I was also absolutely psyched to watch it. By the time it ended I was simultaneously bored and seething.

A girl I worked with a few years ago went to Syracuse University and would work that fact into every damn conversation. One time we were in the office lunch room talking about coffee and she said, "When I was at Syracuse…" and we all walked out.

Yeah it was bloody amazing. Icke was a professional soccer player and became a sports presenter on TV after retiring. Apparently he got into a lot of New Age stuff in the 80s and it all went from there.
