Talking about the music: Of Monsters and Men's lead female singer was all kinds of terrible. I don't think I heard her hit a note without sliding awkwardly into it. Also, they must be the nation's lead supplier of car commercial music.

Somewhat related: the ABC version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella is still really awesome.

My account won't list any comments I've made in the past week, and today it keeps trying to get me to log in after I post a comment.

I still can't believe that SAILOR MOON is part of the lyrics to that song. Seriously. Way to tarnish my favorite childhood TV show, asshats.

Oh my God this whole thread turned into a Californians sketch.

Nope, he's upgraded to singing through a mouthful of marbles. I actually know maybe 1/3 of the words on the album after a couple of weeks. It took me ten years to figure out From Under The Cork Tree.

Thirded.

Fun fact: I showed my friends Scott Tenorman after showing them about 20 generic South Park episodes. And damn, does it still have the ability to shock people COMPLETELY.

HEY FUCK YOU BUDDY! US CANADIANS ARE ALL ABOOT DIGNITY!

Hopefully he waits until he gets signed by a team, so that it has a vaguely uplifting ending.

Paramore is at 81 on Metacritic, and this album is at 73. Emo is taking over the world again. MY SUBCULTURE WILL RISE ONCE MORE!

I still want someone to hatesong Dawes. I mean, AV Club didn't review the new Fall Out Boy, so how else am I supposed to get my vitriol for the week?

I'm not a big fan of how omnipresent this song was, but man oh man Perri can write a fantastic song. "The Lonely" is absolutely beautiful.

This kind of lifted the spirits of one of my Bostonian friends and came out today. Macklemore and Owuor Arunga playing jazz together:

Taran Killam was a featured player last year despite being in about 75% of the sketches on any given night. I'm pretty sure that your union hypothesis is correct, with a few exceptions for obviously extraordinary cases (Amy Poehler and the boys' club thing; Eddie Murphy being the only remotely funny thing in that SNL

I agree. She showed a lot of promise with early impressions that didn't rely on bug-eyes (like Tabitha from that Salon Takeover show - why the hell hasn't she done a whole sketch with that?), but now she's been put in the Kristen Wiig "weird lady" box. Problem is, Wiig actually had a few variations on the "weird lady"

I really liked his first song, but his weird decision to change genres about seven times in the second song left me really confused.

I could really use a wish right now.

I'm at Where Did The Party Go, which has an absolutely dirty bass line. So Pete Wentz actually learned to play the bass during their hiatus. Thank God.

I'm not going to go on Tumblr to find out how bad this explosion will be.
