NO RAJ'S TRUE LOVE IS STUART I WILL NOT LET THIS DIE
I like your definition better. XD
FUN EDUCATION TIME!
I don't know what the complete marketing blitz is about (Jesus Christ, a lawn gnome? Licensed drink tumblers?!), but the show is pleasant enough. It's a pretty decent comedy - better than a lot of what NBC is currently airing.
I don't see large swathes of the world avoiding Harry Potter because of HARMONIANS.
The SNL version of Fox and Friends seems like it'd fit right in tonally with Guardians of the Galaxy. MAKE THIS HAPPEN
Cartman getting comeuppance is a weirdly huge issue for this episode's comments… considering he SHOT TOKEN two episodes ago.
I had to stop the album and go take a walk after Bad Guy. Jesus Christ, if that's "lighter", what does the reviewer think "dark Eminem" is?
Seriously, his intentions are made fairly clear by that one line, devoid of f-word. I don't believe "blanket pejorative" covers that.
"Everybody Loves Our Town" is a really great read about "grunge", but really creates an evocative portrait of the Seattle music scene and everything that went into it. Plus, batshit crazy Courtney Love! -pandering to AV Club base-
What's the weirdest thing about this 90s nostalgia is that most of it is nostalgia for the LATER part of the 90s - like, Pokemon is a huge nostalgia magnet, and I'm pretty sure that was huge in 1997. A lot of these Nicktoons, too, were big at around that time, especially ones like Angry Beavers. Maybe I'm just not…
The Hey Arnold Christmas episode is, no joke, easily one of my top ten favorite episodes of television ever. Every time I sob like an infant.
Invader ZIM was the last great Nicktoon, as far as I'm concerned. Avatar is really, really good, but in terms of sheer ambition and creativity, ZIM edges it out.
It would've been way funnier if she wasn't in the monologue at all, but just randomly showed up to twerk in that 12 Years a Slave sketch.
I loved her half-moshing, half-Electric Boogaloo-style dancing. That's not sarcasm, I really loved how she moved around.
I don't like certain PERSONALITIES on the Dodgers, but that's true of every team. I shouldn't be a huge rival of the Nationals just because Bryce Harper is a moron, right?
As a Giants fan, you guys did really well and I look forward to what you do next year.
God, I loved this so much. I seem to be in the minority, but I was kind of surprised at how much Parker and Stone really grasped about emo - not just the music scene (Sunny Day Real Estate might be dated, but it sure as hell is obscure), but the little fashion differences and the markers in Henrietta's room after…
It's kind of funny that people are calling emo dated, considering that Fall Out Boy and Paramore were major record-sellers this year. It's making a comeback, though that comeback probably isn't at the fever pitch of 04-08.
