Funny story - there are people who argue in favour of ending laws that forbid child labour.

It would be funnier if his real name was Abraham Spiderman.

Where are the today's heroes? Why aren't snowflake millennials training themselves to near-superhuman perfection in acrobatics and combat then spending fortunes on equipment?

Real heroes take in orphans and set them out in the streets at night to risk their lives against people with guns.

You mean he pulled himself up by his batstraps.

Oh, I've had this argument before and I'm on your side here! In a world where there are people you can't lock safely up for life because of their god-like powers, would I be as staunchly anti-death penalty as I am in this world?

Yup! There was a whole conversation on another post here a while back. It does make sense that the same villains keep showing up, because there's fuck all the authorities can do on the word of someone who refuses to give their real name and taints all the evidence.

How is someone who uses "virtue-signalling" along with "chicksplaining and brownsplaining" even watching season 5 of this show? It's worn its politics on its sleeve from the start so it seems like it's something that would have lost you from the start.

I'd wonder if they were trying to make up for one of the biggest missteps of last season - having Bayley be the one who killed Poussey - except that they spent the entire season showing Bayley wracked with guilt with only one person calling him out to his face for what he did and one of the biggest issues we're seeing
