I saw him on the last tour, and my impression was the same as Josh's. I was completely blown away (it was the all-guy band the night I saw them).

I loved Voice of the Fire, and especially loved that first chapter. I felt a little like I was being brainwashed or being put under a spell - I actually found myself thinking like this little feeble minded kid from the stone age (which, admittedly, isn't too far from my usual mindset).

I disagree that it's overboard. I think those elements make it more surreal and like a fairy tale, which lends itself to the story, IMO.

One of my top ten favorite movies, ever. Every performance is amazing. I love Gilliam and Williams, and I think it's the best movie from each.

I agree - I thought it was really funny. A nice mix of humor with something else hiding underneath.

No, I agree with him. Celebrities and the plebes should have equal rights and equal access.

I was raised VERY Catholic - altar boy, Catholic schools, parents were lay ministers and on the parish council, etc. I'm decidedly not catholic, and I don't know how much I'd be able to say that if not for the thorough brain scrubbing via hallucinogens that I gave myself between the ages of 18 and 23. Yeah, maybe. I'm of the opinion that it's probably much simpler than that. You generally only get pulled away from your 'dream job' (as TDVR has described this gig on more than one occasion) when someone else is offering you quite a bit more money. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, other than how it

OK fine, I'll go read it again. It's been long enough.

Some of us are pretty chill.

Yaaarp!

Seriously, just chill. Such a buzzkill, old man.

As a father of a 7-year old boy who has used his son's love of lego as an excuse to build again, I can tell you that the "specialized" pieces are really some of the best ones. Like Tereglith says, they just require a little more creativity to use. The results, though, can be pretty amazing. There's a rather large

I was wavering back and forth between a whiskey distillery and some kind of boat building place or something.

Soulsavers stuff is absolutely fantastic. One of my best days of the last few years was spending an afternoon stoned in a swimming pool listening to Broken twice in a row.

His entire discography is pretty incredible in both its quality and its scope. The man works in tons of different genres and styles, but I tend to enjoy his more stripped-down, singer/songwriter stuff the best.

All of the EPs are enjoyable, but this one is probably my favorite. Familiar and new at the same time - good stuff.

Yeah, the drummer from Colplay was the drummer playing The Rains of Castamere at the Red Wedding.

Why is no one picking England? Hands-down the best song on the album, in my opinion. Maybe my favorite song by The National.

Heartless Bastards, Dave Chappelle, The Black Keys, Joseph Arthur, a bunch of astronauts, The National, The Breeders…
