I agree that it's stupid, but it seems pretty clear that it's just a device to get them back together. Which I think makes sense for the characters.

I just watched it again a couple of weeks ago for the first time in a decade. Such a great cast. Fun movie.

What's the fucking rush? Is this your job or something and all the "pointless meandering" is keeping you from filing your report on the interview with the guy who wrote Carnivale? I hope these writers don't listen to folks with your opinion, because it's all the meandering and personal anecdotes that make the AV Club

@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus  - that's a really good point, and one I hadn't thought about before. The whole family is having a blast, without sweeping the real problems under the rug. I can't really think of any other shows with that perspective.

Thirdsies.

Yup. Funniest thing he's written in ages (and that's saying a lot).

I've sort of enjoyed the show the few times I saw it in the past, but honestly thought that it was no longer on the air. I don't currently watch any CBS shows, so I haven't seen a promo for it in ages.

And on the seventh day, STHM surveyed the world he had created and saw that it was good.

No matter how gentle they are, herpes are technically still a turn-off.

Update that to MeToo%

I agree with everything you said here. Well put.

I think you underestimate the emotional impact of reaching up into your hair and coming back with a handful. It's nightmare-level stuff, and it feels like your body is just falling apart. Have you ever had a dream about your teeth falling out? That's kind of what it feels like.

My money's on this, as well. Possibly Camille instead of Zeek (to really surprise us), but one of them is not going to last much longer.

No need to read when you're just moving your arms and legs around. He's perfect!

I think I was about 6. My brother an I (he's two years older) noticed that Santa and my mom had the same handwriting and bought the same tags and gift wrapping. Either my parents thought we were idiots and wouldn't notice, or my parents are idiots.

Thank you. This was bullshit. I really, really like this show, but am thoroughly confused as to how this whole plot point (that THE SHOW decided to create) was just completely glossed over.
