Small Complaint
The one thing that bothered me with last night's episode was the comment from Jabbar at the end of his talk with Crosby about Crosby being a "boat guy."

I saw an ad for that upcoming "women of SNL" special, and Ms. Oteri looks like she's been under the knife a dozen times since she left the show.

I didn't think you were allowed to marry children in this country.

@billyverona - I agree with most everything you said, other than the part about Beck being in this for self aggrandizement. I don't think that's true, and that makes him even more frightening, in my book. I think he's doing what he's doing for GOD, which is the scariest motivation of all. Because you can justify…

I love Ten through Yield with little reservation, but the last few have had their high points as well (with many more lows).

I'm with Fidel. Everything changes when you have a kid. It's not about you anymore - no matter how much pain you're in (and I can't imagine it's as bad as it's being made to sound - he should have been bedridden if that's the case).

I think this is ekspecially silly because the point is now minute. We've all moved past this.

I thought it was a very funny episode, and I hate to be that guy, but some of the stuff failed to meet my standards of internal logic. Why, again, does Gloria say the wrong thing, instead of mispronounce things? She can hear the words just fine, right? Her ears don't have an accent, do they?

I think you kind of nailed it. And your review got me thinking of the potential long-term impact of watching other scripted dramas that exaggerate people's reactions to these kinds of daily crises. If people watch their favorite TV characters' relationships crumble over these kinds of issues…

Apparently you guys weren't a part of this conversation last week. All the "ins and outs" of woods porn were discussed in length. Funny, I would have thought that there would be more of a crossover between the Fred/Penthouse audiences…
