I hate to say, but I think it's simply an outdated form of dance. It's just not as interesting to watch as the others. I think a big part of that is that it doesn't lend itself terribly well to musical accompaniment. It IS its own music.

I saw that recent drinking episode, too. It was great. I hope this doesn't come off as racist, but I did hear at one point that there is a large percentage of the Asian population that doesn't process alcohol as well or quickly as the average non-Asian. Some genetic difference or something.

bkbroiler - you may have a point. It's kind of in a weird category with a lot of the shows on Discovery/Food Network/TLC/etc. Not sure what you'd call it, but 16 years ago it would have been filed in the "Special Interest" section of the video store.

Interesting list. I'm glad poker got some love, but I think Mythbusters could have found a place in the top 5.

Agreed, it made the song a meandering mess that didn't go anywhere.

Combination of Mystique and the Borg Queen.

Some of my favorite TV, ever. Hard to imagine too many better ways to spend a lazy Sunday than to watch a few chemically enhanced hours of Planet Earth.

Best TV:

Creepy? I don't know about that. I've never read the Twilight books or these (so I should probably shut up), but I'm thinking it has very little to do with them being 'undead' or 'corpses' and everything to do with them being taboo, misunderstood bad boys. It doesn't take a psychologist to know that most women are

OK. Can we officially stop basing someone's ability to play a part or not on their hair color? I'm pretty sure we've reached the point in our ability to create the "movie magic" that we can successfully transform an actor's hair color from brunette to blond.

Trash Man was amazing. A triumphant revelation, or some such shit.

Cuztheysshits - the longer and harder the better, as far as I'm concerned. (Wait!)

Wait, do Catholics no longer believe in YHWH and hell and Jesus and are no longer against birth control and abortion and homosexuality?

Listen to the good Doctor, people. This looks like 23 tons of fun, ya big dumb haters!

Yeah, yeah. Ignorant foreigners. Put on some damned deodorant and shave yo armpits! Speaka da English!

I love Kevin, but was a tad disappointed that he was not only Catholic, but Catholic enough to actually give up meat for Lent. That's some old school, pre-vatican II shit right there. But he did mention that his grandma still cooks breakfast for the whole family every morning and his entire family lives on the same

We should compare notes, Gumbercules. We can stalk with the power of two!

Lovecract should be right up my alley
But I just can't get into his writing. Seems so of its time. The language is so formal and rigid that I can't get into the stories and the characters, and this is coming from someone who started reading Poe when I was 11.

I don't understand the lack of dairy. Why not do a hearty, cheesy homemade ravioli or something? They all looked like the thing you would stick next to a steak that half the people who ordered it wouldn't eat. I am not vegetarian, but I cook vegetarian 90% of the time (I only eat meat once or twice a week) and I

Riff Raff knows what I'm talkin' 'bout!
