The Old Spice commercials to which you refer are awesome. If I can lucid-dream myself into one of those then it will be worth the training effort.

Okay
I watched the clip and it crushed my spirit a bit.

You are all promoted.

I did a little, huh?

I'll give it a try
I pretty much always give Depp the benefit of the doubt, even though he doesn't always come through. After all, he made that pirate movie good, and it had no reason whatsoever to be good.

Makes sense
He's got the look.

I'm not saying it's fine art, but it didn't hurt my feelings, and the Three-Stooges-for-the-80s vibe is pretty well earned.

By the way, sorry for not following the O.P. policy of quoting 'Striaght Outta Compton,' but I just want to keep this quote thread going.

"You don't like how I'm living? Well, FUCK you!"

Kids, kids…those are *each* fine movies!

LET'S SACRIFICE HIM TO OUR GAAAAAAAWD!

Another reason why Trejo is fucking awesome:
"So I got to be pretty good friends with the little girl that passed away, Brittany Murphy. I got to meet her. You sit in the green room for a while, you're just talking to see what's happening. It's real sad, but Hollywood's full of tragedies."

On the subject of a new Muppets movie
I'm sorry but every time I hear 'Kermit' these days I just get unhappy. I'm not a big Family Guy fan, so I'm a little reluctant to pull a reference from that show, but…

Word *up*.

It's 20 years later and I distinctly remember it.

I said it last time Guru was mentioned here:
I maintain that 'Manifest' is one of the best 'pure rap' songs ever made and I place it with the finest of rap's golden age.

Every single episode had the exact same plot:

herc-aleeze, I am totally behind you there—I have a young man to try to bring up right, just like you, and I don't think any amount of agonizing is too much.

Hey, I'm just excited that not only did I finally get to speak my piece to a (ostensibly) receptive audience, but I also got a bit of affirmation. I've often wondered if I might not have a gender-bias blind spot there, so I'm open to other interpretations.

Finally, a place to complain about my tiny, personal, meaningless peeve!
'No man' makes a shitload more sense than 'no one'.
