I'm beginning to think that the alternative timeline is the original, or pure one. The timeline with which we are familiar is the result of Jacob's meddling throughout time, and his influence was erased, either by Jughead or by his murder, to create (recreate?) this natural timeline.

The Liberty Lunch
I've mentioned this before, but they closed the Liberty Lunch and made way for the office building at which I now work. I would feel pretty bad about it if my company built the place, or if I had been one of the first to move into the new building, but all that came later.
Surely THE TICK is western civilization's crowning cultural achievement.
