Under the Christmas tree
Allow me to imagine for a moment that I have enough of a presence on these boards for anyone to draw a through-line on my comments:

Agreed, Awesome Smiths Reference. Our Christmas decorations for at least a decade after the last tour in Germany were mostly from the market, and they were majestic in quantity and quality.

Lost's Harold Perrineau
Weird. I remember when he was OZ's Harold Perrineau.

Hm, I could apparently, right at this moment, walk five blocks and plunk down three bucks and go to the Bazaar.

Stuttgart, Germany
Perhaps the world's premier Christmas market:

Hey, Zack!
There's way too much already posted over on the pop culture geek self-discovery article, so I'm going to drop this in here:

COME QUIETLY OR THERE WILL BE…TROUBLE.

'Charming'
is a perfect way to describe Louis C.K.'s Dave.

Is that Fishburne in that promo still up there?
Because that just can't be. He can't be that big.

Peevish: I totally agree. I feel dirty.

Seriously, it was really difficult to not declare my preference for movies in 1d. But alas, in the 'firstie' game I am a hater, not a player.

3d?
So tempting…

'You are one radical sonofabitch!'

No, I'm with AJR on this one! That shit was rousing!

And I will apparently be unable to spell while saying it…

I'll say it saince Nathan couldn't
That movie is tragically awful.

Ha ha, 'Reparations'! The source of the '…bitch!' emphasis.

I know! After explicitly establishing that anyone who dies in the 'main' reality dies 'for real', he brings them back in a non-main and therefore not-real reality!

Hypocrite
King begged—BEGGED!—Rowling not to kill off Harry Potter in the final book of that series, but in the final Dark Tower novel he killed Jake Chambers TO SAVE HIMSELF.

HA HA HA 'worked so fine a shaft.'
