FPS made me want the alien colonists to win.

In regards to John Layman's run on Detective, Oliver is absolutely right. It was a surprisingly moving story.

I agree. I'm not much of a tie-in reader, at all really, but Doctor Who has been my big exception.

Same here. It was different than 1 to 5 but I thought they worked just about as well.

The Doctor Who books that were published while the show was off the air were phenomenal. They tried daring things and did them, by and large, very well. I love having the show back but I do miss those books. The current tie-in books are usually pretty mediocre.

Yeah, Theef is fun. First Person Shooter is not. It's not even the opposite of fun because the opposite of fun is boredom and not "a torturous viewing experience."

Chase cares about his characters but he also recognizes how incredibly horrible many of them are. If he didn't care then the show would be shit.

Ah, I gotcha. Have you been surprised at how much you've enjoyed 6 and (so far) 7, though?

I've noticed that Todd and Zach have referred to post-season five as less quality X-Files but it seems like the grades for these seasons, especially for 6, have been higher than most for 1-5.

I agree completely. Mulder saying enough was enough and wanting the whole quest to be over was the most honest way to end this storyline. Like you, I cry whenever I watch it, too.

I was a little disappointed to see Landgraf take the "video games" route but I'm glad he brought it around to guns. The fact is, video games don't increase violence, in some cases they actually lessen it. Studies show that inner city youth centers that have video games result in less kids taking out their anger on

This article was definitely O'Neill at his most irritable. I love it.

I shouldn't be as pissed off as I am about the fact that this is pretty much plagiarism of Twin Peaks, but, damn, I'm really pissed. Twin Peaks was phenomenal, despite its flaws, and it comes from the genius mind of David Lynch and FOX ripping it off, with M. Night Syamaln of all people, is fucking annoying.

I only watched "Die Hand Die Verletzt" once because of the snake thing which is annoying as it was a really interesting episode otherwise. Can't sit through things with snakes, though.

I love Sein Und Zeit and Closure. I'm not afraid to admit that I cried like hell at the end of Closure. For me, this two episodes worked exceptionally well and I love that the show had her dead which really was the most honest answer. I also love that Mulder admits he wants her to be dead so that this ends.

ARE WE BACK? ARE WE BACK?

Overlong and looks great? You haven't actually seen the film, have you?

This is my favorite Rabin article so far. Well done, man. I love a great take down of vile art and this fucking delivered.
